The Hot Shot HI first appeared in our catalogs around 1988 and was a classic, high-performance basketball shoe used by amateur and professional basketball players worldwide. A few seasons ago, we updated this style and brought it into the present. In particular, the collar was modified to give it a more modern look. For the ECO version of the Hot Shot HI, we equipped the model with a hemp base. The key lateral overlays and the coverings along the eye area are made from premium smooth leather sourced from a tannery awarded a Gold Medal by the LWG. The mudguard, forefoot area, and heel quarter—three panels that are typical design elements of 80s basketball silhouettes—have been reinforced with additional overlays made from high-quality suede. The molded plastic lacing system and the double eyelet, along with the bold ROOS lettering on the side, are a nice nod to the OG version. Hemp is also used on the tongue, featuring KangaROOS' secret pocket on the inside. A beautiful woven label on the tongue completes this KangaROOS Hot Shot HI ECO. For comfort, we used mesh for the lining. The outsole is made of abrasion-resistant rubber, providing good grip and pleasant durability.
